My Ideas
Idea 1 - Don't Breathe
Setting - One boys school life is hell as his teacher has strict rules on breathing in class. If you breathe in class you get put in the naughty room. No-one knows what the room is like but there is many rumours. One day another child dies because of it and the police get involved. Jay Jay has to figure out where his teacher has gone and how he will catch him before more students die.
Narration - It will use first person narration in order to keep up the level of suspense. This is because the listener will not find it interesting if there is no tension between the characters
Conflict - The conflicts in this short radio drama are between the teacher and the student. There is however a hidden conflict between Jay Jay and Inspector Wiggins as the policeman does not trust such a young boy. This is the reason why Jay Jay took it upon himself to solve this mystery.
Characters - Jay Jay, The student
Mr Copperfield, The teacher
Inspector Wiggins, police officer

<--- My Background MusicI have chosen this piece of music to be the background music for my radio drama because it sets the right tone throughout the radio drama and it is a pefect length. I can also fade it in and out effectively which helps me create silence even more effectively. The fact that it has a steady beat means that the radio drama create more tention and it is easy to fade in and out.
